Silver Wedding—On Saturday the celebration of the silver wedding of Mr and Mrs H Daniels, and the coming of age of Mr T Daniels, was held at the Wesleyan Assembly Hall. About 70 guests were entertained.

Congratulatory speeches were made by Mr H Glen and Mr J C Turner.

A concert was given by Mr Arnold Pack (piano), Mr Bob Butcher (violin), Mr F Thompson (songs), and Mr T Daniels (songs). Games and competitions followed, for which Mrs Daniels presented the prizes.
