Stanwick’s Fine Record of Longevity
Four Generations
The Knights
Last week’s photograph from Raunds of four generations of males is followed up by an equally interesting family group from Stanwick, a village celebrated for the longevity of its inhabitants.

Mr Andrew Knight, the venerable senior of the group here portrayed, is 88 years of age, and wonderfully active for his years. He is often seen busily working on his allotment and aided by a splendid memory is fond of relating incidents of his early days. His son, Mr. Charles Knight is 60 and served as a special constable throughout the war. The grandson is Mr. Charles Andrew Knight, aged 32, who was educated at Kimbolton Grammar School, served in France and Belgium with the 268th Siege Battery R.G.A. and is now on the Post Office staff at Rawdon, Yorkshire. Then there is Master Charles Neville Knight, aged five years, who lived with his father in Yorkshire. The representatives of the four generations were photographed last July.
