It is officially reported that Lance-Corpl. R. G. Whyman, Northants Regiment, was killed by a sniper on September 30th. He was a son of Mr. Fred Whyman, of Northampton, and formerly of Wollaston, and brother to Mr. Fred Whyman, Lawson Crescent, Wollaston.
