OBITUARYWe have to record this week the deaths of two elderly widow women of this village. First, of Mrs. Ann Wesley, aged 66 years, who died on Sunday morning at an early hour, after a lingering illness. She was a pious woman, zealous in good works. Secondly, of Mrs. Elizabeth Partridge, who attended two services in the Independent Wesleyan Chapel on Sunday afternoon and evening in her usual health, and was about to join in a prayer meeting at her daughter's house, when she was suddenly taken ill and died about three o'clock on Monday morning, aged 63 years. She was a good wife, a fond mother, a kind neighbour, and a practical Christian. They were both interred in the churchyard on Wednesday afternoon.
