Killed — Mrs George Webb, Chelveston-road, has received news that her husband, Pte. Geo. Webb, M.G.C., was gassed badly on the Western front, and died from the effects. Pte. Webb was well known in local football circles, playing centre for Raunds Town, and was at one time captain. He also played for Fletton United for one season. He went out to France the first week of this year. Pte. Webb, who was 33 years of age, leaves a widow and eight children, the youngest of whom has been born since he was at home on leave.

Gassed—Pte. Albert Webb, M.G.C., of Chelveston-road, has been gassed. His brother, Pte. Geo. Webb, died recently from the effects of gas.
