It is with much regret that we have to record the death of Mr John Walker, for many years churchwarden and parish clerk, who passed away on Sunday evening, after a short illness of two days, at the age of 64.

The deceased was at work up to Friday night, being taken seriously ill on Saturday morning, and he passed away as stated. He leaves a widow and five sons, for whom the greatest sympathy is felt.
