Little Irchester Man Killed

Pte. A. Thorneycroft, of the Grenadier Guards, of 8 Newtown-road, Little Irchester, has been unofficially reported as having been killed in action in France.

He was 26 years of age, and prior to enlisting in November 1915, worked for Messrs. J. Page and Co. In 1916 he was wounded in the face by shrapnel.
