Pte. Percy Charles Smith, Northants Regt., aged 28, and who is the eldest son of Mr Charles Smith, Hinwick-road, Wollaston, has been missing since the battle of Auber’s Ridge, May 9th, 1915. He is now reported by the War Office to have been killed on that date or since. Prior to enlistment he was in the employ of his uncle, Mr. William Maycock, farmer.
