After Fifteen Months – Missing Soldier Presumed Dead

Mr. and Mrs. Shrives, of 14 Hill-street, Raunds, have received official intimation that their son, Pte. Frank Shrives, of the 7th Northants. Regt., who was reported missing on March 22nd 1918, is now presumed to have died on that date. He joined the Northants Yeomanry in November 1914, at the age of 17 years and 6 days, and was transferred to the 7th Northants in October 1917. He went to France in uly 1916, and was home on leave in December 1917. Before joining up he worked for Messrs. Adams Bros., Raunds.
