Sophia Robins

Found Dead in Bed—Mr. Spencer Knighton, a shoemaker, had a very shocking surprise on Saturday morning. As his housekeeper, a woman of 67 years, named Sophia Robins, did not rise when she was called, he went upstairs to awaken her, but found that she was in the sleep of death. The body was quite cold, and it is surmised that she died soon after retiring to bed. Dr. Mackenzie was summoned, but as death was apparently due to natural causes, no inquest was held.
