Sudden Death
Ringstead Bell-Ringer's Unexpected End

The death occurred suddenly, at Ringstead on Saturday morning, about nine o’clock, of Mr. Thomas Roberts, at the age of 75 years.

Deceased, who was in good health up to the time of his death, was formerly a shoehand, and was a prominent bellringer in the village for some considerable time. He received the old ago pension, and at times engaged in gardening. Deceased was one of the bearers at the funeral of Mr. Shipley, a fellow bellringer, which took place at Ringstead on Friday.
