SAD DEATHMr. and Mrs. J. A. Read, of Bozeat have lost their only son Alfred in very sad circumstances. He was returning from Canada to be married to Miss Edith James, of Earls Barton, and on the voyage was seized with appendicitis. He was operated upon on arrival at Liverpool, but died the same day. He formerly lived at Wellingborough, where he was well known as a temperance worker at Victoria Congregational Church.
