The Death of Mr John Pashler, aged 60, of 15 Wharf-road, Higham Ferrers, occurred on Friday last after a long and painful illness patiently borne. Deceased was a native of Hargrave. He was well known at Higham Ferrers as being a sidesman at St Mary’s Church for over eleven years, and was on the Co-operative Industrial Society’s Committee for about 30 years, having to give up both offices on account of his health. There are left, besides the widow, two sons and one daughter. The funeral took place on Tuesday, the Rev B R Owen officiating at the Parish Church, also at the cemetery.
