Obituary—News was received by Mrs L. Partridge, of 3, Hope-street. Bozeat, on Saturday last of the death of her husband, Lance-Corporal Leslie Partridge, who died from diphtheria. In a letter received from a hospital in Italy, the matron stated that he was admitted into the hospital and died in June. He joined the Northants Regiment in June, 1940. He was wounded in the Tunisian campaign. He was very well respected in the village. In addition to his wife, he leaves two children. Previous to joining up he was employed by Messrs John White’s, Rushden.
