Rushden Echo, 4th June 1909, transcribed by Kay Collins
Parker

In Memory of their two deceased children, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Parker have presented to the Parish Church a beautiful stained-glass centre light in the south window, near the font.

The window represents Christ holding an infant in His left arm, whilst His other arm partly encircles an older child who is standing in the front with hands clasped in the attitude of prayer.

A scroll at the top reads: “He shall gather the lambs with his arms.” At the foot is the inscription: “In loving memory of Alice Brown Parker, died July 5 1886, aged 4 years; and Annie Myra Parker, died Dec. 17 1897, aged 13 years.
