L-Cpl NorrisRaunds - Three Men Killed
Mr and Mrs G Norris, of 48 Marshalls-road, have received news that their eldest son, Lance-Corpl. Frederick Norris, Northants Regiment, was killed in action on March 22nd. A comrade writes that two of their company were wounded, one could walk and the other could not. Lance-Corpl. Norris, with three others, rushed out to fetch them in, and a shell came and killed them all. Lance-Corpl. Norris came from Australia and joined up on October 23rd 1915, going out to France on March 27th 1916.
