Mr. W. Miller
DEATH OF A WELL-KNOWN FOOTBALLER—The death took place on Saturday evening of Mr. W. Miller, at the age of 28 years. Some two or three months ago he had his leg amputated at the Northampton Infirmary, and did not recover from the operation, but died at his residence after a severe and painful illness. The deceased, who leaves a widow and three children, was very much respected by all classes, especially among football circles. For several years he was a prominent goal-keeper, and on many occasions was selected to play for the County Football Club.
