Mr. Frederick William Mantle, of West End, Stanwick, who died on Saturday, was aged 78 years. He was a native of Covington, Hunts, and his death occurred after two weeks' illness. Two sons, Mr. W. Mantle and Mr. A. Mantle, and two daughters, Mrs. C. Odell and Mrs. J. T. Morris, are bereaved.
The burial took place on Wednesday, and the funeral service was conducted at Stanwick Parish Church by the Rector, the Rev. A. F. M. Hammerton. The mourners were: Mr. W. Mantle and Mrs C. Odell (son and daughter), Mr. A. Mantle and Mrs. J. T. Moirris (son and daughter), Mr. B. Mantle and Miss M. Elliott (brother and niece), Mr. J. T. Morris and Mr. C. Odell (sons-in-law), Mr. O. Gates and Mr. Cox (cousins).
The funeral arrangements were carried out by Messrs. Whittington and Tomlin, Rushden.
