Raunds Man Presumed Killed

Mr. S. Woolley, of Friendly Lodge, Raunds, has received news from the Infantry Record Office, York, with respect to Pte. Thomas H. Keeley, of the Northumberland Fusiliers, saying that he has been missing since July 7th 1916, and that the Army Council have been regretfully constrained to conclude that he is dead and that his death took place on that date or since. Pte. Keeley was a Reading man, and was well known by the name of “Snowie.” He had been with Mr. Woolley on and off for a number of years, and when he was at Raunds worked on the farm and lived in the house.
