Death of Bozeat’s Oldest Inhabitant
In less than a fortnight after her birthday, Bozeat’s oldest inhabitant, Mrs. William Jolley, passed away on Friday at the age of 96.
The oldest member of the village Methodist Church, Mrs. Jolley had been a lifelong devotee to its work, both at home and overseas, and she was a regular contributor to the Methodist Recorder, a paper which she read up to the time of her death.
In her younger days she was a member of the church choir and an ardent Sunday School worker.
The funeral took place on Tuesday when a service at the Methodist Church was conducted by the Rev. B. L. Simpson.
