The Funeral took place on Friday last, at the Parish Church, of the late Mrs. Charlotte Hearn, an old and respected resident of the village. Deceased, who was 79 years of age, had for many years been a widow, her husband having died about a quarter of a century ago. The Rector (Rev. W. M. MacCleery) officiated at the funeral and the hymns “Peace, perfect peace” and “On the Resurrection Morn,” were sung during the service. Among the mourners were Mr. Cecil Hearn (son), Mrs. Robert Lines and Mr. T Coleman (brother). |
