The Death took place on Friday last of Mrs Hale, at the age of 49. Deceased had been a great sufferer for some time. She leaves a husband and eight children. The funeral took place on Monday, the Rev F E M Girling conducting the service. The coffin was of elm with brass fittings and bore the inscription:-

Died May 14th 1915
Aged 49 years.

Wreaths bore inscriptions:- In ever loving memory of a dear wife and mother, from her sorrowing husband and children. Not gone from memory, not gone from love, but gone to our Father’s home above. If love could have saved her shoe would not have died. In ever loving memory of our dear sister, from Bill and Eliza. In loving memory, from her brothers and sisters. In loving memory from her father and mother. With love and deepest sympathy from Harriet, Charley and family. In kind remembrance of our dear Eliza, from Helen and Arthur, R.I.P.
