Mr. C. Groome laid to rest

The funeral of Mr. Charles Edward Groome, of Carlton House, Higham, who died at the age of 86, took place on Christmas Eve.

A service at the Methodist Church was conducted by the Rev. J. Scott.

The mourners were Mrs. Groome (widow), Mr. and Mrs. A. O. Groome (brother and sister-in-law), Mr. and Mrs. A. N. Groome, Mrs. M. Sanders, Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Upton, Mr. and Mrs. C. Bonham and Mrs. E. Hanger.
