Daniel George

Wellingborough News, 6th January 1883, transcribed by Kay Collins

SUDDEN DEATH—One of Mr. Turnell’s labouring men, of the name of Daniel George, died suddenly last Saturday morning. About the time of rising he complained to his wife of being in great pain. She at once got up, and he also did so hoping he would feel better, but soon after he got into his chair he expired. Two or three days before he had felt unwell and saw the doctor, who did not, however, apprehend anything serious. An inquest was deemed unnecessary.
