Nonagenarian’s Death
Matriarch of Five Generations

The death is announced of Mrs. Rebecca Brown, of Go-rong Farm, near Podington. She was the widow of Mr. Wm. Brown, and was 92 years of age. She and her husband were natives of Podington, where their forefathers had lived before them for many years. We produce our photograph showing the old lady wearing a cap, together with her daughter, Mrs. M. S. Church, of Wellingborough (69), her grandson, Mr. A. Church (49), her great-grandson, Mr. T. W. Church (23), and her great-great-grandson, Raymond Church. Another daughter of deceased is Mrs. Walker, of Strixton, who walked over to see her parent in her last illness.

Obituary—An aged resident of Podington has passed away in the person of Mrs Rebecca Brown, of Go-rong Farm. The deceased, who was 92 years of age, was the widow of the late Mr William Brown, who was also a native of Podington, in which village their ancestors also resided.
