OBITUARY—A correspondent writes:—We have this week to announce the death of a former resident of this village, Mr. Ebenezer Bramley, who left Wollaston about 24 years ago for the United States. Mr. Bramley passed away on March 2nd, after about two months' illness. He has left behind a widow and eight children to mourn his loss. While he was at Wollaston he was very much esteemed by a wide circle of friends. He was a very acceptable preacher and temperance advocate, and continued to make himself useful when he arrived at his new home in the State of New York. He was interred in the burial ground of the Methodist Episcopal Church, of which he had been a useful member for a considerable time. He died, as he lived, in the faith of a Christian, remarking when near the end that death had no terrors for him. A funeral sermon was preached in the above named church, from the words "I have fought the good fight" &c.
