Octogenarian’s Death—We regret to record the death, which occurred on Sunday, of Mrs. Emily Mary Berrill, at the age of 82 years. A native of Earls Barton, she resided in Rushden for a number of years, where she was postmistress of the Wellingborough-road post office. She later removed to Knuston Farm, the home of her daughter, Mrs. George Willmott, where she celebrated her 82^nd birthday on the Wednesday previous to her death. She had been a widow some 34 years and leaved three sons and a daughter in bereavement. The funeral took place on Wednesday afternoon in Rushden Cemetery, the Rev. J. A. Sutherland officiating. The immediate mourners were Mrs. George Willmott (daughter), Mr. and Mrs. D. Berrill, Mr. and Mrs. A. Berrill (sons and daughters-in-law), Mr. O. Berrill (son), and Mr. F. Berrill (brother-in-law). There were numerous floral tributes.
