Funeral—Many family friends and relatives gathered at the Baptist Chapel on Monday to pay a last tribute to an old colleague at the funeral of Mr. John Henry Ball of Gladstone-street, Ringstead.

Mr. Ball who had been ill for a long time, passed away at his home on Friday. Aged 71 years, he was the widower of Mrs. Eliza Ann Ball, and was a very popular figure in the district. The services at the chapel and graveside were conducted by the minister of the Methodist Church. Many wreaths were received. The Co-operative Federal Funeral Service carried out the arrangements.
