Rushden Boot Operative - Killed inaction
Pte. C. H. Bailey, Northants Regt. Son of Mr. and Mrs. G. Bailey, High Street, Wollaston, was killed on March 4th in France. Pte. Bailey, who was 24 years of age, enlisted about two years ago, and served in France over twelve months. Prior to enlistment he worked for Mr. Joseph Knight, boot manufacturer, Rushden. Deceased’s elder brother Pte. W. Bailey, was killed last July, while his younger brother is at the Front.
