Three Raunds Men Killed
Corpl. E. Stringer, Pte. S. Allen and Pte. J. Spicer
Mr and Mrs Fred Allen, Sackville-street, Raunds, have received news that their only son, Pte Stanley Allen, Royal Dublin Fusiliers, aged 19, died of wounds in France on October 6th. Pte Allen enlisted on December 1st last, and went to France on May 24th. Before joining up he was employed by Messrs Tebbutt and Hall Brothers, boot manufacturers.
