On Wednesday last the death of Mr. W. Felce jun., took place after a long and painful illness, at the age of 62. The deceased was appointed to the office of Mayor’s Sergeant–at–Mace and Town Hall keeper 18 months ago, and also superintended the market. The body was interred in the churchyard on Sunday last, in the presence of a large number of relatives and friends. The funeral service was impressively read by the Vicar, Rev. J. T. Dunn.
