BozeatĀ is an extensive village and parish, in the hundred of Higham Ferrers, diocese of Peterborough, and archdeaconry of Northampton, situate 11 miles from Northampton, and about 6 north from Olney. The population in 1851 was 921, and the parish contains about 2,537 acres of land. The Church is dedicated to St. Mary. The living is a discharged vicarage, consolidated with that of Strixton, in the gift of Earl Spencer, and incumbency of the Rev. Frederick John Pizey, M.A.

Letters are received through Wellingborough.
