Destructive Midnight Fire

Irchester Jobmaster Loses Two horses
A destructive fire occurred at Irchester in the early hours of Tuesday morning, and extensive loss was sustained by Mr. Mark Percival, a waggonette proprietor of the village, and practically all of his property was burned out. Two horses that were in the stable and one pig were suffocated before they could be released, and their carcases were burnt.

Our photograph shows the premises as they appeared after the flames had been subdued. Unfortunately, Mr. Percival was not insured.
