Bankruptcy—At the Northampton Bankruptcy Court on Tuesday, William Frederick Simmons, boot manufacturer, of 27 Grove-street, Higham Ferrers, came up for his public examination. The liabilities expected to rank for dividend were £481 6s. 7d., assets £49 12s., deficiency £431 14s. 7d.—Answering the Official receiver, debtor made a statement similar to that made at the meeting of creditors, reported in this issue, and again attributed his failure to want of capital. Early this year he knew he was in a poor way, but thought he could pull through.—The examination was adjourned until Oct. 9th.
