THIS business was founded in 1892 by the late Mr. Robert Coggins. Its success is a living tribute to the memory of a capable man. Established in modest quarters in Coleman Street, pronounced an unqualified success and early demanded more capacious premises. To meet this requirement the present modern factory, with up-to-date equipment, was erected in Marshall's Road in 1900, supplemented the following year by a commodious currying department.
In 1908 the business was converted into a limited liability company.
The firm specialises in Army and Navy Work of every grade and description.
Since the outbreak of the War the whole of the Company's resources have been devoted to National requirements.
Mr. T. L. G. Coggins is serving as a voluntary driver with the British Red Cross, and Mr. Harold Coggins is a cadet in the O.T.C.
