Wellingborough News, 8th April 1892, transcribed by Kay Collins

A dispute has arisen at Bozeat owing to Mr. W. Drage giving notice that on and after April 11th, no work will be given to Union men from his factory. Mr. D. Stanton was therefore instructed by the Council to have an interview with Mr. Drage, when that gentleman refused to withdraw the notice, with the result that a meeting of the men working at the trade in that village was held on Wednesday, and a resolution passed that no further work should be taken out from Mr. Drage's until the notice was withdrawn.
