To be Sold
The Manor of Ringstead, in Northamptonshire, with several Quit Rents thereto belonging, of about the Yearly Value of Nine Pounds; with a Fishery of upwards of two Miles in Length in the River Nine (sic), which is navigable, and adjoining upon the said manor.

Also a new-erected Mansion House, being an elegant and substantial Stone Building, with Sash-Windows, and cover’d with Slate; four Rooms on a Floor, besides Pantries, Scullery, and all other convenient Offices; The lower Rooms consist of two large Parlours, a Study, and Kitchen, with a spacious Passage and Stair-Case; On the second Floor are four very good Bed-Chambers with Closets, and large Garrets above. The Whole entirely new, and completely and elegantly fitted up with Wainscot and Paper; and under the House are three spacious Cellars.

Also a Coach-house, Brew-house, and Wash-house, with a Laundry over the latter, and a Dovecote well stock’d over the Coach-house; also a Four-Stall Stable, with a Chamber over it, which may be us’d as a Lodging-Room for Servants, or any other use.

Also a Pleasure and Kitchen Garden, the walls planted with choice Fruit-Trees, and a Close of about an Acres adjoining thereto, with an Outlet for a Carriage into the Open Field.

All the buildings and Walls are entirely new, and the Ground laid out in a good Taste.

Also about seven Acres of Plow’d Land in the Open Field, and a Parcel of Meadow-Ground that will yield about four Loads of Hay yearly.

There are also two Closes more of about and Acre each, one of them lying in the Front of the House, the other at a little Distance, which the Purchaser may have a long Lease.

Ringstead is a pleasant Village, in a fine County and good Neighbourhood, situate within two Miles of Thrapston, a Market and Post Town, from whence there are good Turnpike Roads to London and into the Eastern, Western and Northern Parts of the Kingdom.
