Rushden Echo & Argus, 17th August 1934, transcribed by Kay Collins
SCOUTS' CAMP The first Raunds Scout Troop has returned from the annual camp, held this year at Hatfield, in the beautiful park of the Marquess of Salisbury. The weather was dull during the greater part of the week, but each one did his mixing together a merry "cocktail" of work and pleasure. On Tuesday a party went to London, and on Friday a camp fire was held, when visitors and members of other troops were present. On the return on Sunday hearty cheers were given for the "skipper" (Mr J W Camozzi).
