A Camp Meeting was held on Sunday last by the Primitive Methodists of Irchester under the leadership of Mr R Slater, of Wellingboro’, supported by Messrs Jolley (Northampton), Stubbs (Rushden), Plowman and Brown (Wellingboro’), Munton and Fletcher (Kettering). The morning service was held in the street near the town pump, the afternoon service in a field kindly lent by Mr Young, and the evening service in the chapel. The Rushden Station-road Mission Band assisted in the afternoon and evening.

Fish Supper—In connection with the Primitive Methodist Chapel, a public fish supper was held on Monday when about 130 persons sat down to an excellent repast. The management was admirably carried out by Messrs. Stubbs, Jones, S. Parbery, Morris, Goosey, and Mesdames J. Stubbs, J. Stokes, W. Brown, J. Goosey, S. Parbery, F. Newell, and Misses Goosey, Stokes, and Norris.
