Registration of Births, Deaths and Marriages

I Henry Matthew Hodson, of Wellingborough in the county of Northampton, Gentleman, Superintendent Registrar of Births, Deaths and Marriages, for the Union of Wellingborough, in the Counties of Northampton and Bedford, in compliance with the Regulations made by the Registrar General, with the approbation of the Right Honorable Lord John Russell, one of his Majesty’s principal Secretaries of State, in pursuance of an Act for Registering Births, Deaths and Marriages, in England,

Do hereby give Notice, That Thomas Clark, of Wellingborough, in the county of Northampton, Surgeon, William Havens Pope, of Higham Ferrers, in the same county, Surgeon, and Edwin Sanderson, of Wollaston, in the same county, Surgeon, have been severally duly appointed Registrars of Births, Deaths and Marriages, for the undermentioned Districts in the said Union, that is to say:-

The said Thomas Clark, for the Wellingborough District, which comprises the following Parishes, Townships or Places, viz.:- the entire parishes of:

Wellingborough
Finedon
Isham
Orlingbury
Great Harrowden

Little Harrowden
Hardwick
Wilby and
Great Doddington

The said William Havens Pope, for the Higham Ferrers District, which comprises the following Parishes, Township, or Places, viz.- the entire parishes of

Higham Ferrers
Irthlingborough
Irchester
Rushden and Newton Bromshold,
in the said county of Northampton

And Poddington or Puddington
Wymington, and
Farndish,
in the said county of Bedford.

The said Edwain Sanderson, for the Wollaston District, which comprises the following Parishes, Township, or Places, viz.- the entire parishes of

Earl’s Barton
Mear’s Ashby
Sywell
Overstone
Ecton

Grendon
Easton Maudit
Bozeat
Wollaston and
Strixton

All in the said County of Northampton,

And I do further give Notice that the said Thomas Clark, of Wellingborough aforesaid, Surgeon, has been also duly appointed Registrar of Marriages for the said Union.
