Notice is hereby given, that the Annual Meeting of the Members of this Association will be held at the Green Dragon Inn, in Higham Ferrers, on Monday the sixth day of February next, at Twelve o’clock at noon, when and where the several members hereunder named are requested to pay their annual subscription; in default of their doing so, they will be excluded all benefit to be derived from the said Association.
Any person desirous of becoming Members of this Association, are requested to attend the said meeting, in order that they may be elected by a majority of members then present.

Higham Ferrers and District Association for the Prosecution of Felons
The annual meeting of the Society was held at the Green Dragon Hotel on Monday, Mr. E. B. Randall in the chair. There were a good number present, and several gentlemen enrolled themselves as members. The secretary (Mr. W. H. Simpson) read the report of the past year, which stated that only three prosecutions had been dealt with, and that they now had a reserve fund of about £200. After the meeting a capital dinner was provided by Mr. J. Affleck, to which about 60 sat down.

The Annual Meeting of the Higham Ferrers Association for the Prosecution of Felons was held at the Green Dragon on Wednesday evening, when there were present Messrs. F. Knight, J.P. (in the chair), W. Hirst Simpson, B.A., C.C., F. D. Brazier, A. Clifton, W. Hector, W. L. Beaver, and Wadsworth, with Mr. T. Browning (clerk). The Chairman read the financial statement for 1917, which showed that the year was started with a balance in hand of £8 18s. 3d., and finished with a balance of £20 14s. 7d. The investments included £50 mortgage and £100 of 5 per cent war stock. The balance sheet was adopted. It was decided to invest £15 in War Bonds in connection with the Tank campaign at Northampton next week. The following gentlemen were elected members, Messrs. R. Payne (Irthlingborough), Nurrish and Pallett (Rushden). It was reported that there had been one prosecution during the year, viz., for damage to property belonging to Mr. Eady Robinson. The offenders were fined 5s. each. It is believed that this was the first time since 1810 that no dinner was held in connection with the annual meeting.
