On Sunday 27th October2019 we celebrated Our Dedication Festival at Church.
Our service on Remembrance Sunday, 10th November began at 09-30am. This was earlier than in previous years to enable the Clergy and Choir to process out of the Church to the market square for the parade service there and allow time for that service to reach the 11:00 two minutes silence on time. As always, the service in Church and the Parade Service on the Market Square were very moving and well attended by our congregation and many others.
On Monday 11th November 2019 we held an Armistice Day service. We started our service at the Church Yard cross which was dedicated exactly 100 years ago to the fallen the Great War. We then moved to our newly refurbished Memorial Garden to keep the two minutes silence at 11am. Our service finished with us planting small memorial crosses in the garden.
