Tennis Team at Groome's Private Courts late 1930's
This was taken before Higham Ferrers had their own courts.
Groome's had one grass and one hard court , which ran parellel with
Kimbolton Road, they were at the back of Groome's house which stood on
the corner of Lancaster Street and York Road. (Photograph by A J George)

Opening of the New Tennis Courts
The club's Tennis Courts opened next to the Town Courts in the Recreation Ground in Wharf Road, 1950 or 1951.
