Milk Lower—One of the farmers has this week started retailing milk round Easton and Bozeat at 2d. per pint. Needless to say other vendors have had to reduce theirs to the same level.

Twenty-One—On Saturday afternoon a number of friends and relatives were invited to the schoolroom by Mr. and Mrs. S. Patrick to celebrate the twenty-first birthday of their only daughter, Miss Elsie Patrick. Tea was followed by a two-hours’ social, the evening then being given over to the young people for dancing, Mrs. West and a band supplying the music. A large number of useful and handsome gifts were received by Miss Patrick.

A Social in the schoolroom at Easton Maudit recently realised £7 9s. for the Merchant Navy. Arrangements were made by the Entertainment committee, with Mr S West as M.C. Refreshments were served by Mrs Allebone, Miss M Britton, Mrs Jones, Miss Young and Miss Frost.
