PODDINGTON, BEDFORDSHIRE.

10 HORSES, 9 COWS, 60 SHEEP, 21 PIGS, large number of Poultry,
2 stacks Straw, 1 stack Clover, Implements, &c.

Messrs. Pendered and Son

ARE instructed by the Rev. J. Geldart, who is giving up farming, to SELL BY AUCTION, on Tuesday, 7th October, 1884, at the Farm Premises, Poddington, the whole of the Live and Dead Farming Stock, viz.:

HORSES—A team of 6 excellent cart horses, also 2 yearling colts, 1 foal, and a brown nag mare.

Cows—3 in-calf cows, 2 Alderney ditto (in-calf), 1 Alderney cow (barren), 1 heifer (barren), 1 cow (barren), and 1 steer.

SHEEP—16 breeding ewes, 23 shearhogs, 18 lambs, and 3 rams.

PIGS—2 sows with litters, and 3 in-pig sows.

POULTRY—41 young turkeys, 24 ducks, 3 guinea fowls, about 150 head of other poultry, and a few pigeons.

IMPLEMENTS, &c.— Narrow-wheel wagon, 3 carts, reaping machine (Hornsby), with latest improvements; 2 sets drag harrows, set small iron harrows, drilling machine for seed and corn (Smyth), reversible seed barrow iron scuffler, iron horse-hoe, cake mill, bean mill, winnowing machine, iron plough (Howard), weighing machine, bushel measure, barn tackle, rick cover, tarpaulin, chaff cutter, 42-round ladder, iron troughs, 2 cow cribs, 5 sheep troughs, root pulper, harness for 6 horses, dairy vessels, salting lead, &c.

A rick of Wheat Straw (produce of 20 acres), a rick of Barley Straw (produce of 20 acres), and a rick of Clover about 11 tons (all to go off).
