STAG HUNTOn Wednesday last a pack of the Kempston harriers raised a stag in Odell Great Wood and had a splendid run of some three or four hours. He was run down in a grass field belonging to Mr. Oliver Mee, of Harrold, killed and taken to Mr. Fever, butcher, where he was dressed and hung up in the shop. It is supposed that a pair of deer have strayed from Kimbolton park to these woods.
