The entrants totalled twenty-five couples and the winners were: Ladies doubles Miss Sale and Miss Walker, Bedford, 1; Mrs. J. C. Parker, Wellingborough. and Miss Sanders, Hinwick, 2. Owing to the indifferent weather the mixed doubles were unable to be completed so the last two pairs tied for the prize they being Mr. and Mrs. J. A bridge tournament was also run in conjunction with the tennis the winners being: Mrs. C. Sanders, Wollaston, 1; Mrs. A. S. Dodds, Wymington, 2.

The duties of M.C. were capably carried out by Mrs. Bletsoe and Mr. L. Robinson. Tea was served during the afternoon by Mrs. Orlebar and staff. The proceeds of the combined effort amounted to £8/1/6.
