ON Friday, 5th Aug., 1881, upon the premises of Mr. John Lines, Newton Bromshold Lodge, (on the road leading from Higham Ferrers to Newton Bromshold), under a distress for rent.

LIVE STOCK—Bay horse "Turpin," bay horse "Prince," roan horse, in-calf cow, 5 lambs, 1 tup, 3 pigs, 40 head of poultry.

IMPLEMENTS, &c.—;2 carts, iron scuffler, iron harrows, wood ditto, wood roll, plough, Suffolk drill, stitch ditto, horse drag, 2 hand ditto, dressing machine, weighing ditto, chaff box and horse power, iron drinking trough, 2 ladders, 20 sacks, root pulper, forks and tools, ale barrels, churn, dairy vessels, 4 sets of harness, &c.; and the following CROPS:—

ARE instructed by Mrs. Taylor (who is leaving), to SELL BY AUCTION, on Monday, 28th August, 1882, upon the premises at the Rectory, Newton Bromshold, as above, comprising:—

OUT-DOOR EFFECTS—A pony vis a vis four-wheel carriage, driving and riding whips, 2 saddles, 6-inch lawn mower (in good order), corn bin, two-knife chaff cutter, iron and wood pig troughs, small rick of HAY, &c.

FURNITURE, &c.—12 mahogany chairs, mahogany dining table, ditto, 3 mahogany stands, library chair, knee-hole office table, several sets of book shelves, nearly 400 volumes of theological and other books, curious Indian desk, 6 rare oriental china plates, blue and white oriental china, butler's tray and stand, china tea service, mahogany and other wash-stands, commode, bed steps, 2 bedsteads, flock bed, 3 bedroom chairs, looking glasses, India toilet set, large oak chest, kitchen appointments, and numerous other effects.

NEWTON BROMSHOLD, NORTHAMPTONSHIRE.

Sale of valuable FARMING STOCK, comprising 112 Sheep, and Lambs, 6 head of Cattle, 9 young and active Cart Horses, Cart Foal, 2 Cobs and Pony, 17 Pigs, 460 Fleeces of Wool and the whole of the very useful IMPLEMENTS,

TO BE SOLD BY AUCTION, BY Messrs. Stafford and Rogers,

ON Thursday, Oct. 5, 1882, by direction of the Executors of the late Mr. W. Harris, who are giving up the Farm.

The SHEEP comprise 35 young half-bred ewes, 55 very useful lambs, 21 fat wethers, and Hampshire Down ram.

The CATTLE: 5 two-yrs-old steers and barren cow.

The HORSES: 9 valuable young cart horses, active and good workers, cart foal, 2 cobs, and handsome cream-colonred pony, 12 hds., 8 yrs. old, quiet to ride and drive, and fast.

The PIGS: 2 in-pig sows and 13 stores.

Also the whole of the very useful Implements, in good condition, including a capital wagon and 4 carts, 7-coultered press drill, by Coultas (nearly equal to new), 3 iron ploughs, scuffler, sets of heavy and light iron harrows, horse hoes, Hornsby's reaper, Cornes' chaff-cutter with 2-horse gear, hand chaff machine, dressing and weighing machine, combined cake and bean mill, pulper, harness for 8 horses, strong spring cart, &c.

Luncheon will be provided at Twelve o'clock, tickets, 2s. each, to be returned to purchasers over £2.

Sale to commence with the Implements at One o'clock.

NOTE—The Stock are very useful and in healthy condition, and the Fat Sheep of good quality. The Cart Horses are young, active, and excellent workers; and the Implements are in good order.
