Mr Thomas Coleman

The death of Mr Thomas Coleman, an old and respected native of Newton Bromshold, took place on November 23rd, at the age of 77. The funeral took place at the parish church on Tuesday, November 26th, the Rector (Rev W McCleary) taking the service. Miss M Mortimer presided at the organ. The hymns were “Jesu, lover of my soul” and “Abide with me.” The mourners were Mr Joseph Coleman (brother), Mrs Robert Lines (niece), Mr Cecil Hears (nephew), Mrs R Russell (niece), Mr J Boddington (brothe-in-law), Mrs T Martin (niece), Miss L Boddington (niece), Mr R Lines, Mrs W H Coleman. The floral tributes were: In loving memory of my dear Uncle, from May, New Zealand; At Rest; From niece and family; brother and niece; William and Annie.
