Newton Bromswold Fete
These pictures are from the 1940s but we have few names. If you can identify anyone, please contact us.

Fancy Dress at the Fete: l-r Mrs Hartop, Mrs Edith Mills, Mrs Rose Toone and Mrs Sanders
with William Ball's barrel organ. William Ball was Rose's father and lived at Yelden.
We don't have a date for this picture, but around 1940 - some names were written on the back but we don't know which they are: Mrs Warrington, Mrs McCartney, Mrs Willoughby, Mrs Bletsoe, Mrs Gadsden, two Misses Hanger & E Reeves.
This picture has been passed to us as "Newton Bromswold Fete" thought to be in the 1940s.
Mrs. Muxlow standing centre is opening the Fete - she was a Councillor at Rushden.
